About 2010 Conference

With the exciting theme, “Educating for Extremes” (Educating for global challenges in a rapidly changing world), 876 participants from 50 countries representing 463 universities. APAIE had to order extra booths to fit 86 booths at the exhibition which was a continuous attraction throughout the conference & exhibition. APAIE is known to have diverse participants. Number of percentages represented by regions well supports the diversity. The delegates from Oceana regions 36%, Asia regions 31%, European Regions 21%, USA & Canada regions 11%, and other regions 1%. With the great discussions and sessions the 2010 APAIE Conference completed with many good reviews. One of the guest speakers was the honorable Mr. Bob Hawke, the former Prime Minister of Australia, who has touched the issues in the educating for global challenges in Asia Pacific.
