Ritsumeikan Asia-Pacific University , Japan , graciously hosted the meeting at their beautiful mountain top campus. All 5 SC members attended the meeting and they are Prof. Doo-Hee LEE, President; Mr. Thomas WU, Vice President for Administration; Prof. Ah Choy LIEW, Vice President for Conference Planning; Dr. Edgar PORTER; and Dr. Christopher TREMEWAN. Ms. Jeongmin LEE of the Secretariat and Ms. Noreen TAN of National University of Singapore, the 2007 host of APAIE Conference also attended the meeting as ex-officio.

2006 Conference report was submitted by the Secretariat for review and discussion; direction and vision of the Association was discussed including how to benefit our members; and details for 2007 conference planning were discussed. The next SC meeting is scheduled to be in Singapore in October.
