Warmest greetings from APAIE! I hope all of you enjoyed the conference at Waseda University in Japan and had a safe and pleasant trip back home.
On behalf of APAIE, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all conference participants. Without your contribution, participation, and support, the conference wouldn¡¯t have been such a great success.
While it is still preliminary, the feedback we are receiving from participants indicates that the conference was very well received. We had some 764 participants from over 420 institutions of 55 countries. I do want to acknowledge that we did receive significant input, suggesting that there is much room for improvement with regards to the layout of the conference. We have taken this seriously and can assure you that for the 2009 APAIE conference, we will be addressing this issue to ensure a "user friendly" environment.
And finally, I, hereby, extend an invitation to you, to attend the 2009 APAIE Conference & Exhibition hosted by Renmin University of China, in Beijing, from 15 to 17 April 2009. You can be sure that we will be preparing an informative array of inspirational and pertinent sessions and discussions.
